SPORTS: I'm at full power and ready for World Cup - Mendy

France defender Benjamin Mendy insisted he would be at "full power" for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Mendy, 23, returned from a serious knee injury for Manchester City in April, meaning he has played just seven games this season.
But the four-time France international believes he will be ready for the World Cup, which begins in mid-June, if he is picked.
"I'll do like everyone else and try to get as much playing time as possible," Mendy told SFR Sport.
"We'll see when the [squad] list comes out.
"Physically and mentally, I'm at full power and I'm ready to go to Russia."
France will face Australia, Peru and Denmark in Group C at the World Cup.

NEWS:  Anambra State Government Gives Quit Notice To Okada Riders in Onitsha, Awka Commercial motorbike (Okada) operators in Onitsha and Awka, the capital city of Anambra State have been given until July 1, 2018 to change to another trade or vacate the two cities for good.  This is one of the many resolutions from the meeting of the Anambra State Executive Council today, Tuesday, May 22, 2018. POLITICS : Falae in Ibadan to woo Alao-Akala to SDP Chief Olu Falae The National Chairman of the Social Democratic Party, Chief Olu Falae, on Monday visited the Ibadan home of a former governor of Oyo State, Adebayo Alao-Akala, in a bid to woo him to join the SDP. Alao-Akala recently defected to the All Progressives Congress after failing to win the state’s governorship election in 2015 on the platform of the Labour Party.
